These days you can actually go out and buy different types of “kits” that come with everything that you are going to need to repair a wall. It is not that we are accusing any of these companies of all false advertising. The thing is, people who really don’t have the experience can really botch these repairs. We have even helped people that had hired other “professionals” to get the job done for them. After what they did ended up being an absolute failure. The main reason that just putting in a patch is not simple as it sounds is that not every issue can actually be repaired with a patch! This is something that not everyone tells you.
 
Assessing The Damage 
This is something that we just talked about. Just because there is a visible hole in the wall does not mean that, that is the only problem that you may have on your hands. This happens a lot more with stucco walls, but drywalls are not exempt from it. If you put pressure on the wall and you can just see bits and pieces coming off just patching things up may not the trick. In these cases, we will likely have to provide more extensive repairs.
 
What Technique Are We Going To Use 
Once we have determined that we are going to go ahead and patch up there are different types of techniques that we can use to get the job done. Overall when applied to the correct situation basically all of the different types of patches can work. A lot of times the difference between a good job and an average job is making sure we are using the right technique. We have a lot of experience in this department and we are confident we will be able to get the job done right!
 
Textured Walls 
The biggest fear that people have when they are getting their walls repaired is that the repair is going to leave a mark. To the point where it is going to be clear to people that there was some sort of repair done to the wall. Textured walls give people the double creeps at times. After we seal up the hole or dent we are going to have to make sure that we don’t only even out the color we also need to make sure the texture matches. If you want a truly great finish it is going to be hard to get it from an amateur service.
 
Perfect Color
Another one of the things that people fear when they have to call in a sheetrock repair service is that the color won’t match. This is a greater issue than a lot of people actually realize. Especially when you are just patching up the wall. A lot of people would rather we go ahead and repaint the entire wall when we do this. If that is the case we really have no problem with it. We actually prefer it, because it allows us to take care of all the minor details that we see all at once.
